@afader -- I just built in a clean chroot. Sounds like a issue either with your system or your chroot. tested with a knoppix ISO to verify it functions as intended. If you can create a dump and link to it here, i can take a look.

please add the following package to make-depends; aur/dht - provides DHT library required for proper DHT support. aur/libutp-git - uTorrent Transport Protocol library, commonly used by many torrent clients and required for transmission to use this protocol. community/libb64 - base64 library, faster than the built-in logic.

Its treating warnings as errors, and failing to build. please update. (08/05/2021 - still not fixed.)

Hello, please add provides=(transmission-cli) to the PKGBUILD, so transmission-cli could be easily re-installed by this package without breaking the dependencies.
