The python-pony and other Python dependencies are not required anymore since the Tribler 8.x series using a web-based GUI.

Hello, I updated the PKGBUILD to the newer version, sadly it wont build due to the fact that the dependency 'python-pony' is unavailable. As suggested by @AnoGP, i will at some point get round to updating the PKGBUILD to build tribler from source code.

You need to install python-aiohttp-apispec-git. Otherwise you get this error:

==> ERROR: Could not resolve all dependencies.
 -> error making: tribler-bin-exit status 8
 -> Failed to install the following packages. Manual intervention is required:
python-aiohttp-apispec - exit status 4
tribler-bin - exit status 8

Yes, because this is the direct continuation of that package. No, because that package has to be built from source (and I do not maintain it anymore, see the comments there).

The python-pony package can only be found in the Arch Linux Archive, but it looks like Tribler works without it, thus it was removed from the dependencies.

Getting this error during installation:
