Is it possible that you're trying to run the tryton client with python 3? That's how I managed to reproduce the error.

Also, when tried to compile it using the tarball and pkgbuild, when i did: $ makepkg -g Ive got an error which says that tryton.desktop wasnt found in the compilation directory, and it is not an URL. Thanks =)
