The package naming is confusing. Usually the new package is without version number, and old ones have the prefix. Here it's the other way around.

I got this error when trying to build it using gnome 3:

checking for TSC... configure: error: Package requirements (glib-2.0 gmodule-2.0 gobject-2.0 gtk+-2.0 libglade-2.0 libgnome-2.0 gnome-desktop-2.0 gnome-vfs-2.0 libnotify gconf-2.0 libnm-glib) were not met:

No package 'libgnome-2.0' found
No package 'libgnomeui-2.0' found
No package 'gnome-desktop-2.0' found
No package 'gnome-vfs-2.0' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables TSC_CFLAGS
and TSC_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

Already voted for it, it's a great app. I wish it doesn't depend on networkmanager.

Great application!
Absolutely love it for my administrative work on the road.

One question though is how to connect to a windows terminal server as administrator.
In windows all I had to do was add /admin to mstsc.exe or remote desktop icon ( same thing )
Or do I need another app to do it?

fukawi2 commented on 2010-05-28 01:37

Because there's no TU willing to adopt it and maintain it.

Why is this not in community? Seriously...

Stunts commented on 2010-04-29 09:50

Solved it for me. Thanks, I should have thought of that though.

recompile then

Stunts commented on 2010-04-28 16:30

tsclinent2 does not work (don't know since when, I only tested it now).
$ tsclient
tsclient: error while loading shared libraries: libgnome-desktop-2.so.11: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Could be Gnome 2.30 related.

Anonymous comment on 2010-04-06 16:18

There is a package called tsclient2-svn, if you like it, but those dependencies are there too :(

Anonymous comment on 2010-04-06 15:17

I wish that this package were in community, and that we didn't need networkmanager or gnome-panel to build it.
