@zenlord. is a already splitted package. lib32-qt4 is only for a GUI. i think the problem is about your pacman helper

zenlord commented on 2017-03-22 19:57

Is it really required to merge the CLI and the GUI version? I have to install lib32-qt4 on a headless server although I'm only interested in the CLI version...

sl1pkn07 commented on 2017-02-12 02:13

is only a remaining commentary when merged this package with the older package (tsmuxer-ng)

I don't understand your second-last comment, sl1pkn07 - this package *is* tsmuxer-ng-bin, so how can it be deprecated?

sl1pkn07 commented on 2016-12-11 20:49

and yes. upx is missing in makedepends, I believed that was installed by base-devel

fixed in tsmuxer-ng-bin

sl1pkn07 commented on 2016-12-11 20:44

this package is deprecated. please use tsmuxer-ng-bin instead

Sorry, you are *decompressing* the binaries, not compressing...

So, makedepends=('upx') ?

gosella commented on 2016-12-11 19:48

It seams you are compressing the binaries (/usr/bin/tsmuxer && /usr/bin/tsmuxergui) with UPX but upx is not a build dependency for this package (missing a makedepends maybe?).

Or better yet: Just don't compress the binaries! ;-)

Thanks for the split !

I used the previous 'tsmuxer' package in a server (without graphical interface). It does not exist anymore.
Your package does not match CLI only use as both tsMuxeR and tsMuxeR-gui binaries are packaged together and tsMuxeR-gui requires qt4.

Is it possible to split the current package into, for example, 'tsmuxer-ng' and 'tsmuxer-ng-gui' ?
