I was required to use this in a lab at my university. The new source is the one I was instructed to use. I version number comes from the date of the last modification in source.

You are better off using modern alternatives, like iperf. This one seems dead. Time to disable notifications now.

The source URL is dead and has been for some time so this package will not install. Anyone know what's going on?
