@oldherl so, you can see... makepkg or AUR helpers uses curl not firefox... something needs to be done.
@zoorat Now I see the problem. It's wget and curl that don't recognize the certificate, but Firefox can download them without problems. Firefox uses core/ca-certificates-mozilla but wget and curl use core/ca-certificates. But I don't know why wget and curl don't trust that certificate.

@zoorat I can download them at those URLs without any issues. But if you can't download, you can try the package in [archlinuxcn], a 3rd-party repo. The link is https://repo.archlinuxcn.org/any/ttf-arphic-extra-20100309-3-any.pkg.tar.zst

I found it.
There are 2 zip files containing ttf and licenses.
Arphic just redesigned their website. The fonts seem to be missing on the new site. I'd appreciate if someone can find a new (official) link.
