Thanks for quoting the error @DAC324, but you missed the most important line!

curl: (60) SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired

I'm not sure that there is anything I can do about this. I tried changing the source links from https to http, but that didn't help. I can't see a way to make makepkg's curl ignore the certificate. In the meantime, you can manually download the files, place them in the same directory, and makepkg.

I've contacted upstream, so hopefully they will update their certificates soon.
