@latipun can you give me examples of other fonts doing that on arch? I couldn't find font packages that do this myself and I don't see why I should add these to the provides array if other nerd font packages don't do this themselves.

Please add provides=('nerd-font' 'nerd-fonts' 'ttf-font-nerd' 'ttf-font-nerds' 'ttf-nerd-font' 'ttf-nerd-fonts'). That field is useful when for example nerd-fonts is required by other packages as dependencies, so AUR helpers can suggest this package to be installed. Example package is starship that requiring ttf-font-nerd as its dependencies.

@second2050 ok, makes sense I guess, but since this is overkill I think I will alter the PKGBUILD to only install the "complete" ones. As a sidenote, I am amazed that this patched font is very little known, the nerd fonts equivalent has not been updated for years.

@coxackie iirc this still applies to the "powerline" versions of delugia, plus they also include "Seti-UI" and "Devicons".

FYI I only use the complete versions, I included all versions tho as they are part of delugia

@second2050 Thanks a lot for this package. Out of curiosity, what is the point of installing the "powerline" fonts, since the "complete" are a superset. and, in reality, the powerline fonts already exist in cascadia code.
