Finally fixed the problem. It had nothing to do with hinting, the real problem was that the font weight (normally a number between 0 and 210) has to be set to 400 for dotsies to work correctly. Please note that fontconfig-unaware applications may make dotsies look broken, there's no ready solution for this.

Additionally, all of the new fonts which have been created since that are also dotsies have been added. :D

I have updated it with the new alternatives, however there is a problem: the stripping problem is caused by font-hinting. I've attempted to make fontconfig rules to turn it off, but I'm having difficulty getting them to work. Is anyone more experienced with fontconfig?

This font doesn't look nice with my terminal (urxvt). There's gaps between letters and the letters are quite blurred. I'd like to have a pixel perfect font.

In the newer version they seem to run together quite nicely at most resolutions.

I think disabling font hinting under 11 points would be beneficial, but some sizes still look good with it under 11. Any suggestions?

(Try opening it in LibertyOffice and typing something out, then resizing it. See the gaps?)
