@ptrxyz I don’t think so. You might have an old version of LICENSE.md in your cache.

ptrxyz commented on 2019-03-08 14:12 (UTC)

As of today, sha256sum for LICENSE.md should be: a7a0e1da98ab1bae99a1f246f45e51720e0cc13a53b4a5b0692f64991d2191af LICENSE.md

@Ataraxy It’s a soft limit that is regularly ignored. “Also try to keep the descriptions to ~80 characters or less.” (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_packaging_standards) Not sure whether the PKGBUILD is a good place. Normally one would see it only after deciding to install a package. I’ve thought about adding a sticky comment to each AUR page, but finding the info there isn’t straightforward either.

@Markus00000 Thanks for explaining the character limit. Would you consider putting that link in a comment in the PKGBUILD?

@Ataraxy The differences are explained on the releases page under “Download Options”: https://github.com/be5invis/Iosevka/releases Package descriptions should be no longer than 80 characters. I haven’t found a way to put all the differences and a description of Iosevka into 80 characters. Does that help you?

What is the difference between this and the -pack and -term variants? Could the descriptions of each be updated to differentiate them?

@Markus00000 That was it! Thank you.

@nesv The problem is an old copy of LICENSE.md in your cache. The checksum is correct.

nesv commented on 2017-06-29 17:51 (UTC)

@Markus00000 I'm still getting a checksum error for the license: ==> Validating source files with sha256sums... 01-iosevka-1.13.1.zip ... Passed LICENSE.md ... FAILED

@ljxfstorm Thanks, it was updated after the release. Fixed it.
