Sarasa Gothic is now a pan-CJK programming font.

@dani Thanks, my bad. Fixed in 0.8.2-2.

dani commented on 2019-08-26 11:50

0.8.2-1 updated pkgver but did not update checksum

@acgtyrant TTC = TrueType Collection

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TrueType#TrueType_Collection

The TTF version is huge due to all the duplication. If you need to have it because some of your programs do not support TTC, let me know and you can adopt the ttf-sarasa-gothic-ttf package. If TTC is supported for your usage, I suggest to use it.

I noticed that the source in this PKGBUILD is sarasa-gothic-ttc-0.5.4.7z. I do not know what is an OTC font. Can sarasa-gothic-ttf-0.5.4.7z provide ttf-font?

acgtyrant commented on 2018-06-13 00:41

@Markus00000 Becuase I do not want to install another ttf-font any more. However caiye said this is an OTC font actually, what a pity, forget it now.

caiye commented on 2018-06-12 12:55

@acgtyrant This font is actually an OTC font, thus I don't think it is appropriate to make it provide ttf-font, unless other reasons explained.

@acgtyrant Can you explain why?
