It looks like eduSong_Unicode.zip was updated this July

@adrien1018 working after clean older version, thanks.

@ckaznable I double-checked the checksums, and they seem to be correct. Did you delete the old sources (possibly left when building an older version)?

eduSong_Unicode.zip edukai.pdf edusun.pdf
those files did not pass the validity check!

Oh I see your point. The pkgver() is probably there because it was previously fetching from git. Changed to fixed pkgver now.

Please. I repeat my request - don't use a dynamic pkgver().
pkgver() is meant to bump version controlled packages that change often - to notify people that the upstream package has changed.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/VCS_package_guidelines#The_pkgver()_function
It's not meant to dynamically assign a version at install date, even if you can do that, there should be a good reason.
No other AUR packages (that I've ever installed) do that. Why is this package? What is the purpose?
A reminder of what? I want to be informed when the package changes, not every time I update. These messages are spam and totally unnecessary.
It distracts my attention from other important messages. Please delete it.
adrien1018 commented on 2022-05-13 15:05 (UTC)
This is the intended mechanism of pkgver(). The message is just a reminder and can be safely ignored.
bhrgunatha commented on 2022-05-12 11:05 (UTC)
Please make pkgver and pkgver() the same value.
e.g if I installed it today yay will tell me the installed package - 20220512-1 - from pkgver() function - is newer than AUR version 20210727-1 - from pkgver variable.

@laichiaheng 你可以使用全字庫字型,包含的字比較多
