@simona, the files probably haven't propagated to all the GNU mirrors yet. Try again later.

On one of my machines, the gpg key issue persisted after changing the keyserver to ubuntu. Instead, the solution was to manually add nameservers to /etc/resolv.conf directly (e.g.: nameserver 8.8.8.8). Running dig keyserver.ubuntu.com (from bind package) revealed that my DNS was somehow borked - ping, browser & package managers worked fine, but dig & gpg kept failing.

In resume:

echo "keyserver hkps://keyserver.ubuntu.com" >> $HOME/.gnupg/gpg.conf

This line don't overwrite the file in case there is a previous one (notice the double >). You can use other keyserver such as hkps://pool.sks-keyservers.net

Greetings!
