@Akrai,
thanks for the heads-up, there was indeed an error in the whole timer unit setup. I have now patched the upstream-provided .service file and also enabled the timer. This is what one expects with something like this. It also tells you now post install, to directly run tuptime if you don't want to wait for the next reboot.

I have a question, the pkgbuild install the systemd units but it doesn't enable it, right? Shouldn't automatically enable the cron one in the installation process which is i think the needed one to make this work constantly? Or warn in the output to the user to do it or something
Also, the pkgbuild is missing to install the tuptime.service
