Finally got around to updating this!
I've removed the rc.d service file from the PKGBUILD, and most people are now using systemd on Arch.

Suppose you could remove this line nowdays:
install -D -m755 "${srcdir}/tprintdaemon" "${pkgdir}/etc/rc.d/tprintdaemon"
