There seems to be a bug in tusk that prompts users to download a newer version.

However, there's no newer version in the official website, it looks like a bug.

Can you add a symlink to /usr/bin/tusk to this package?

mkdir -p "$pkgdir/usr/bin/"
ln -sf "$pkgdir/opt/Tusk/tusk-app" "$pkgdir/usr/bin/tusk-app"

Most packages leave either a binary, or a symlink there, rather than leave that sort of step to be done manually (and running the app via the full path is just odd).

After installing, it places the built files in /opt/Tusk

Add a symlink to tusk-app, or add it to your $PATH

On a new archlinux install, I have a few dependencies missing:

  • libxss
  • gconf

I just tried to install and can't seem to open it. Ver 0.11.0-1. I'm using bspwm and launching it with rofi thru drun. It doesn't show up in htop. Is there some other dependency not listed?

To use 0.11.0

pkgver=0.11.0

sha512checksum: 46a92855835b0155a2ea69d9f9c8644770027959770afdc0de4dade8745bf3d4b4f7b3a21e45ce8a28e7d7603256dc5ebf77491de7bfc9777792a998a3ad56b1

To use 0.10.1

Change Version and Checksum: pkgver=0.10.1 sha512sum: 64c5561c10cfa9d703a9fd2c8149a5836c2157032a8a392ed871f160bbe2ff170c47cfc399bd4088312986225592ce5fffe6a88f18ec7ec4d530697172c39a5c

To use 0.9.2

Change version and checksum

pkgver=0.9.2 sha512sums_x86_64=('6261ad9bb46a6ac1b00cc617c5226a8e84b0c35cbaabeb5ef4994415908007ad227d089836b31efe6cc5d431069e006f1a6b56dd2ffd4d8fc6c4e4cab05953ba')

Couldn't stop but noticing that the checksum var should be 64 instead of x86_64

sha512sum tusk_0.9.2_amd64.deb 6261ad9bb46a6ac1b00cc617c5226a8e84b0c35cbaabeb5ef4994415908007ad227d089836b31efe6cc5d431069e006f1a6b56dd2ffd4d8fc6c4e4cab05953ba

btw, not sure if this is intended or if it's just specific to my system, but the $HOME/.tusk.json file has 2 entries for return shortcut.

Awesome stuff! Thank you for this. I'm glad to have ability to insert code-block with "```", which is lacking in the web-based UI.
