Hi, I no longer own my SCHENKER VIA 14 Pro (M24), so this package will be updated way less frequently.

If someone would be interested in maintaining this package, please e-mail me, or look at this issue.

This message doesn't mean I'll never push an update, but updates will be untested (will test if the package install works, but not functionality), and not as frequent as if I was still using the device.

I'll also be retracting a patch to the embedded controller code (tuxedo_nb05_ec.c), as I suspect it was causing a kernel panic on my system (could also be a bug in the driver itself, but no idea).

I got an EUROCOM Blitz Ultra 2. The keyboard LED was always on. I have installed tuxedo-drivers-nocompatcheck-dkms and the LED is off now!

% cat /usr/lib/modprobe.d/tuxedo_keyboard.conf
options tuxedo-keyboard kbd_backlight_mode=0

I can turn on or off the LED with

echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/white:kbd_backlight/brightness

Mostly just rebasing the same 3 commits on top of new upstream changes. Sometimes there could be incompatible changes, so it's always good to check the rebase result, if it makes sense.

For some reason, this no longer works for kernel 6.12. Installs just fine, but keyboard lights can't be controlled by keyboard shortcuts. Defaults to blue lights, as if there's no driver. Thoughts?

It has been an issue with synchronization between gitlab and my forgejo instance. Should be fixed now!

Also TUXEDO released v4.6.2, which merges the patch for kernel >=6.10, so I rebased on top of it.
