I don't know how you manage to update so quickly after a new version is released, but thank you for doing so!

Could you change the arch=(any)? Since it is a python package, it is architecture independent (the .deb package is also architecture independent).

I meant, I am the developer of this software. In future, I will keep this in mind while releasing a new version.

I don't want to maintain this package for time constraints. Thanks for doing so.

@archisman: Try to contact the developer of this package and see if it agrees to improve the software versioning system!

@archisman: You want to maintain this package too? You are using this before me...

You were right. Arch treats 0.9.71 > 0.9.8

archisman commented on 2025-04-11 13:51 (UTC)

I am the developer :)

Does Arch treat 0.9.71 to be greater than 0.9.8?

Anyway, since the typhoon package on the AUR has v0.9.71, I will soon figure out if that creates a problem (and I will let you know as well)

Dominiquini commented on 2025-04-11 03:24 (UTC)

@archisman: This package is downloading version 0.9.71, but I don't want to go up to this version because I'm almost certain that the developer will call the next version of the app of 0.9.8, and I don't know if this will cause a problem with updating this package!

archisman commented on 2025-04-11 03:03 (UTC)

The latest package version is 0.9.71 (not 0.9.7)
