Updated the package to include a patch to fix build errors on latest versions of python-setuptools. I've also submitted it upstream but I doubt it'll be admitted given the state of the repo. Also felt like bumping the PKGREL this time :)

Not sure how correct it is to do this, but I'm in favour of leaving the epoch at default since it's a pretty dead package at the moment so seems like a good time to give it a fresh start. The popularity is at 0.00 (and the last time a commit with epoch=2 was used was quite a few years ago), so I don't think that it'll cause many issues

The new version is older because last committer removed
epoch=2
that was there earlier. It needs to be added back.yochananmarqos commented on 2020-08-17 03:13 (UTC) (edited on 2020-08-17 03:13 (UTC) by yochananmarqos)
The makedepends() array is missing which should include
cmake
andgit
.The pkgver() function is missing, see VCS package guidelines.
The epoch was not necessary.

Hi @abbypan here's an updated version of the PKGBUILD which fixes the install prefix and also installs the udev rule https://gist.github.com/piec/f3c60cbcf283cb6ffa766289df6c495a I'm also using a git url which is more practical for development on ubertooth
