I would like to share my approach with you. http://sprunge.us/bNXi It's a workaround that enables you to download the file. I just tested it again - it still works fine for the download, but it seems like they changed the installer/extractor a bit. @neersighted: hope this helps you a bit ;-)

So, UCSF recently added a 'real' token to their download page and now you can't automate the download. I have a contact there, and I'll see what I can do. Until then, you have to download the '.bin' file manually and place it in the same directory as the PKGBUILD. Sorry about that.

The PKGBUILD should be updated with the current url, that's why the installation process fails

Sorry, I accidentally marked this as old and didn't notice that the 1.8 version was marked as "release candidate" on the homepage. Is there a way to retract this?

Created. * This PKGBUILD now requires Pacman 4.1, due to be released March 10. If you don't know how/can't build it, contact me for a backported PKGBUILD.
