Can you please provide a .desktop file, so that launchers such as fuzzel can find it? For example:

[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Type=Application
Terminal=false
Exec=env UDISKIE_DMENU_LAUNCHER="fuzzel" udiskie-dmenu --dmenu
Name=udiskie-dmenu
# Icon=rofi
Icon=drive-harddisk-usb-symbolic

Please don't consider the prior sample as correct, I always reuse prior ones when creating this sort of files, since I'm not pretty good at them.

Also, perhaps not assuming a launcher but rather relying on having it set as an environment variable, or warn the user to set it as they want...

Thanks !

I have rofi installed as a drop in replacement for dmenu (/usr/bin/dmenu symlinked to rofi) - so this won't install. Shouldn't dmenu also be an optional dependency?

Ownership passed to smrqdt.

@smrqdt - protocol updated.

@milkii - Either I totally missed your comment, or I just didn't read into it far enough to catch what the actual issue was. It looks like I changed how the version is generated (or upstream added a tag, and I didn't notice). Epochs shouldn't be necessary at this point, but I added one in case someone built this package 3 years ago and never rebuilt.

Thx for creating this PKGBILD!

Cann you please replace the "git://" in the source URL with "git+https://"? The legacy unencrypted git:// transport protocol was disabled by github in March. (https://github.blog/2021-09-01-improving-git-protocol-security-github/)

Just a tip, bumping the epoch with the pkgver change is worth it in future so AUR helpers know to update appropriately.

@rien33 fixed. Thanks for the heads up.

pkgver() returns a hyphen, which is not allowed in version strings.
