@aksr It seems I forgot to use my reading glasses the last time I reread the PKGBUILD. :-( Fixed.

Rewritten according official packaging guides. Consider to update. https://gist.github.com/shizeeg/6099176 @pdexter Try ctrl+x ctrl+d to save file. If I understand your problem right.

For some reasons ctrl+s causes this to crash. I compiled this from source myself and the problem persists. Using urxvt if that matters.

@Cape uemacs is stored in .emacsrc - you can find the help file at /usr/share/doc/uemacs/emacs.hlp there is also an example rc file there. /usr/share/doc/uemacs/.emacsrc

Do somebody of you know where to store configs for this editor? Is there some more documentation available online?

Fixed the build, updated to the latest Git revision, made a patch to look for the helpfile in a sane place negating the need for the .install file...I think that's about it, but everything should work now so yay.

I'm planning to update this package to make it compile and such later today.

Weird package. First, make fails completely because the file created by the PKGBUILD is called "makefile" and not "Makefile". make: *** No targets. Stop. After fixing that, eventually we get here: CC window.o CC word.o CC names.o CC globals.o LINK em strip em cp em /usr/bin cp: cannot create regular file `/usr/bin/em': Permission denied make: *** [install] Error 1 ==> ERROR: Build Failed. Aborting... *shrug*
