I think the check-sum for this package is out of date. Trying to install using 'pacaur', uEye-Linux-4.82.02-64-bit.tgz fails the validity check.

Updated to 4.82.02. Thanks @retrakker.

Download URL not working anymore. New version is: https://en.ids-imaging.com/download-ueye-lin64.html?file=tl_files/downloads/uEye_SDK/driver/uEye-Linux-4.82.02-64-bit.tgz and the installer packages have now the patch version in the filename. As have it working now you can use this gist: https://gist.github.com/seichter/e10f274bf944db39bb061585575a46c4

@cyclamen, @retrakker: Thanks for the debugging. What a silly requirement on the path, but glad that you guys could figure it out :) PKGBUILD updated to include the trailing slash.

@cyclamen: Thanks for answering here. I actually seen that de-vries had changed the config files. @de-vries, the first line after [Parameters] in the config file needs to have a trailing slash added: Usb3FirmwarePath = /usr/share/ueye/firmware/usb3/ And the camera works now.

@de-vries regarding the firmware problem the *.fwc files inside the usb3_addon directory should be installed on the system. Then the file /etc/ueye/ueyeusbd.conf should point to the directory of the install: [Parameters] Usb3FirmwarePath = /usr/share/ueye/ueyeusbd/firmware/usb3/ Usb3AddonFirmwarePath = /usr/share/ueye/ueyeusbd/firmware/usb3_addon/ DeviceSequentialArrangement = 300

Just a short heads up: no luck with new version and with symlink. I get: Apr 18 14:03:36 celsius-hartmut ueyeusbd[531]: [0-3-0xfffffff5] DevId: 1, SerNr: 4103116224 Apr 18 14:03:36 celsius-hartmut ueyeusbd[531]: Error during FW Upload Apr 18 14:03:36 celsius-hartmut ueyeusbd[531]: [2-4-0x00000000] DevId: 1, SerNr: 4103116224 Apr 18 14:03:36 celsius-hartmut ueyeusbd[531]: Model: UI313xCP-M, Type: 64, bflag: 8 0 8 which is pretty much the same as clynamen.

Updated to 4.82.00, thanks @lezed for flagging. I still want to get USB firmware uploading to work correctly. I would welcome any information or patches to that end.

@de-vries had a short trial with 4.81.1-4 but without luck (camera is a UI-3130CP). Unfortunately didn't had enough time to poke a bit more into the details. Camera is fully functional with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. @clynamen can you share what you actually did to get it working? Maybe just share your changes to PKGBUILD via Gist like I did before.
