Old page is still available in the US.

Hi,

The 2 given links seem to be dead.

de-vries commented on 2020-02-23 01:34 (UTC)

Updated, thanks for the link.

Note that the ueyenotify tool doesn't exist in 4.93.0 anymore. Hopefully this means they detect interface up/down events automatically through netlink now.

As retrakker mentioned earlier the download link from http://www.ids-imaging.com/go/edmund/ could be used.

http://en.ids-imaging.com/tl_files/downloads/uEye_SDK/driver/edmund/49300_Linux_all.tgz (contains 32bit and 64bit installer)

or https://en.ids-imaging.com/download-ueye-lin64.html?file=tl_files/downloads/uEye_SDK/driver/ids-software-suite-linux-4.93.0-64.tgz (64bit only)

There is a new release, but to my knowledge no publically available download link. You may attempt to download it manually and modify the PKGBUILD to use the manually downloaded file.

However, I can't upload a PKGBUILD with missing local source file. The AUR doesn't allow it.

Updated, thanks.

The latest idscameramanager depends on Qt5, not Qt4.

Thanks, updated. I really wonder how they get their links for different versions so inconsistent...

They also changed their installer to cpack, so I hope I properly processed the changes. It's actually largely an improvement, apart from them unconditionally trying to run /usr/bin/ueyesetup in the installer, which a) doesn't do the right things for Arch and b) completely ignores the installation prefix.

If we'd actually run that, it would attempt to configure the system while building the package. So I added some a sed command to comment out those lines, and I also decided not to install the ueyesetup executable in the package at all.

If people experience problems, let me know. Also, if you manage to fix them, please let me know :)
