Thanks! I switched back to the main uim package, so orphaning - feel free to adopt.

Terribly hackish, but replacing "make" with "make || make" (basically, retrying) now fixes the build. (note: I tried "make -j1" to no avail)

Got the autogen.sh issue fixed in just a few hours (reporting the bug upstream helps!) Now there is an error running make: configure: creating ./config.status CMake Error: The source directory "/qt5/applet" does not exist.

It seems to be like there could be a $variable/qt5/applet where $variable evaluates to the empty string somewhere?

Reported; it probably wasn't going to fix itself! https://github.com/uim/uim/issues/179

I fixed a few issues, but it still doesn't build due to some autoconf problem.

Not sure what the problem is, might be an autoconf version incompatibility or upstream issue.

Fixed, as well as two more issues preventing building in a clean chroot. Should be good now.

This package needs an additional dependency to compile: qt5-x11extras
