Note that the upstream uksmd
project is archived now, and the "UKSMD"-feature is not anymore added to up to date linux kernels by it's author.
For controlling vanilla kernel KSM, you can have a look e.g. at "MemoryKSM" in systemd or at cachyos-ksm-settings
package, and for OpenRC hope for a ksmctl-openrc
to be created.
