Fails to build after fixing git sources, which for some reason, point to a fork(!?).

I see the error below which looks like some commands are missing, even though they are available (I even included inetutils which provides hostname to makedepends)

/bin/bash: line 1: which: command not found
/bin/bash: line 1: readlink: command not found                                                                                                                                     
/bin/bash: line 1: whoami: command not found
/bin/bash: line 1: hostname: command not found
