I could compile, install and start the program, but there is absolutely no sound. No sound in the menu and also no sound during singing. Somehow I am missing some sound configuration, but I couldn't find out what. Hello, this package should provide a WAY more updated version of Ultrastar Deluxe than ultrastardx and ultrastardx-svn, it also doesn't require it's own ffmpeg version now. That said, it's still under heavy work as of now (2016/3/13), some features might not work as desired, sometime it might now even build. I supposedly reported all dependency, but my machine being one that was used to test ealier build, I might have forgot some, don't hesitate to report it if it's the case.

I get this: common.mak:45: recipe for target 'libavcodec/libvpxenc.o' failed make: *** [libavcodec/libvpxenc.o] Error 1 ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting... ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build ffmpeg-usdx. ==> Restart building ffmpeg-usdx ? [y/N]

For me (after removing makefile patch) it fails with: /home/$USER/build/ultrastardx-svn/src/ultrastardx-build/src/ultrastardx.dpr(102,5) Fatal: Can't find unit swresample used by ultrastardx Fatal: Compilation aborted Error: /usr/bin/ppcx64 returned an error exitcode Makefile:223: recipe for target '../game/ultrastardx' failed

Makefile patch is not needed anymore, please fix the pkgbuild :| For those who can't compile it, comment the " patch "src/Makefile.in" "${srcdir}/Makefile.in.patch" " line at prepare() function.

Can't compile. It fails after getting the files from svn: patching file src/Makefile.in Hunk #1 FAILED at 125. 1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file src/Makefile.in.rej What's wrong, please? :(

Randomly crashes while in song. ultrastardx.bin: pcm.c:2730: snd_pcm_area_copy: Assertion `src < dst || src >= dst + bytes' failed. What could be causing this?

For launch I allways use this instead ffmpeg-usdx: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/ffmpeg-compat ultrastardx Works perfect for me.
