@sdore Thank you for the response! I think I will use this then. I'll test this alongside 'checkupdates' and 'auracle outdated'.

@ThePirate42, it will. It is being written because I didn't like the mentioned one. pacvcs does not use makepkg and downloads everything itself, and also does some other weird things, imo.

I will daily-drive this alongside checkupdates-aur (invoking periodically), so it should become well-thought and well-optimized at some point.

Does/will this script have some advantages to pacvcs? (I've tried neither, I was searching for a VCS helper and I found by chance your very recent submission)
