Hi,
I've just installed both the client and server (to backup on an external drive) and I got this error on installation:
error: file owned by 'urbackup2-client' and 'urbackup2-server': 'usr/share/urbackup/urbackup_ecdsa409k1.pub'
I just forced the installation, does not seem a big deal.

I was getting the following error during build:
'cryptoplugin/AESGCMDecryption.cpp:42:41: error: ‘assert’ was not declared in this scope
assert(decryption.CanUseStructuredIVs());' during the build. '
I fixed this by adding the following command before the configure step of the build:
sed -i '2i#include "assert.h"' cryptoplugin/AESGCMDecryption.h
