I can build sdformat 13.2.0 with urdfdom-headers 1.1.0 in a clean archlinux/archlinux:base-devel docker, only adding git and paru-bin and running "paru -Syu sdformat", so I think the issue is on your setup, @angelodalzotto.

urdfdom-headers version 1.1.0 comes from https://github.com/ros/urdfdom_headers/releases/tag/1.1.0

It is impossible to build sdformat with this version of the package. I don't know where version 1.1.0 comes from, but the latest release is 1.0.5, which works with sdformat PKGBUILD

You should write something like this in PKGBUILD:

source=("$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.gz::https://github.com/ros/$_pkgname/archive/$pkgver.tar.gz")
