PKGBUILD is missing makedepends=('automake' 'autoconf')

vonpupp commented on 2016-09-20 04:07

Hello, could you please include 'aarch64' architecture? Thank you!

ilf0 commented on 2016-04-22 11:17

As long as this isn't recompiled against ncurses 6, how about adding a dependency on ncurses5-compat-libs or something similar?

Currently, a fresh build gives the error:

urlview: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Jonhoo commented on 2015-09-18 15:20

A pkgrel bump to force recompile with ncurses 6 would be appreciated.

duckunix commented on 2015-02-19 12:00

Can you add 'armv7h' to the supported architectures? It works just great on the ARM!

Thanks for the package!

Successfully built with bidulock's gist which also remove extra dependancy on autmake-1.11

gabx : it's just a warning

hobarrera commented on 2014-11-26 16:39

These work:

hobarrera commented on 2014-11-26 16:37

Mirror seems down.

gabx commented on 2014-10-09 21:42

build failed :
aclocal: warning: autoconf input should be named '', not ''

bidulock commented on 2014-10-07 17:01

A PKGBUILD that does not require any special autotools.

tpreissler commented on 2014-04-13 19:17

I just tried to install this and it keeps complaining about automake-1.11. Ok so, ... here is my patch - it is a bit "dirty", but it works for me - on x86_64:

The automake version does not match the one in the repositories.

rtfreedman commented on 2013-12-11 19:46

Please add 'automake-1.11' to makedepends.
I also had to put aclocal-1.11 just after 'patch -Np1 -i ...'
- at least when using _patchlevel=19

misc commented on 2013-06-18 19:03

debian has patchlevel 19.

Vain commented on 2013-05-26 08:10

How about moving "install -d ..." down to package() and "patch ..." to prepare()?

GloW commented on 2013-05-25 20:34

A quick work around is to build it as root.

Well it's bad and should be fixed.

Anonymous comment on 2013-04-10 18:22

build() fails. There is makepkg log [1]. This may be useful [2].

Thank you.

So there's no way to un-flag a package if one, say, has a new laptop with a touchpad that's really easy to trigger while typing, and inadvertently brushes it while the pointer happens to be over the flag link?

Sorry about that.

shtrom commented on 2011-10-25 02:15

Thanks for this package.

However, the default settings are a bit old. Would you mind pathching the file as part of the packaging so it uses a more recent browser than Netscape.

I have that I mine, it would be nice if it were the default (note that the order of the list matters):
https_prgs="/usr/bin/firefox:XW /usr/bin/lynx:XT"
http_prgs="/usr/bin/firefox:XW /usr/bin/lynx:XT "

This patch from gentoo:
adds DESTDIR support which simpifies the building of the package. It doesnt need the creating of all the directories that way.

rogorido commented on 2011-01-17 19:02

something is not working. I have in muttrc:

macro pager \cb <pipe-entry>''<enter> 'Follow links with urlview'

and in .urlview:
REGEXP (((http|https|ftp|gopher)|mailto)[.:][^ >"\t]*|www\.[-a-z0-9.]+)[^ .,;\t
COMMAND chromium %s

But anytime I press Ctrl-b in a message I get:

Unknown URL type. Please report URL and viewer to:

badboy commented on 2011-01-17 13:40

Please fix this package as mentioned by Vain.

donvla commented on 2011-01-07 12:06

"/usr/bin/urlview" is missing.

encbladexp commented on 2011-01-05 17:49

Still Broken :-/

Vain commented on 2010-12-29 15:05

this PKGBUILD failed to build for me. In package(), it should read:

make prefix=${pkgdir}/usr mandir=${pkgdir}/usr/share/man install

There's an "install" missing at the end of this call. :)
