@MarkH Edit the PKGBUILD find "url" and remove the parenthesis and ". Then keep compiling and everything should be fine.

When I try to install using packer or yaourt, the install fails with the message: "ERROR: url should not be an array"

I've updated this package to be compatible with new TeXLive installs. If you notice any more issues, please report, I will try to fix them.

Hi, there may be an error in the PKGBUILD, I get this error during install: >>> texlive: saving updmap.cfg as /tmp/tmp.efZwtvhZ4e... >>> texlive: regenerating updmap.cfg (custom additions should go into /etc/texmf/web2c/updmap-local.cfg) cp: impossible d'évaluer « usr/share/texmf/web2c/updmap-hdr.cfg »: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type >>> texlive: updating the filename database... mktexlsr: Updating /etc/texmf/ls-R... mktexlsr: Updating /usr/share/texmf/ls-R... mktexlsr: Updating /usr/share/texmf-dist/ls-R... mktexlsr: Updating /var/lib/texmf/ls-R... mktexlsr: Done. >>> texlive: updating the fontmap files with updmap... done. (it's french but it says that the file is not found)

"alladin" is not a common license, so you should set the license-array to ('custom') and provide a license file in /usr/share/licenses/$pkgname, for instance $srcdir/garamond/README.garamond.

@vesath: hopefully fixed. @giniu: well, the way I used the fonts (and I think this is the way it was originally intended) is via \usepackage[urw-garamond]{mathdesign}. And mathdesign is a part of texlive-fontsextra. But you're right that in principle a sufficient dep is just texlive-core (so I made this a hard dep) and fontsextra is just optional (if you want to use it with mathdesign).

I just noticed that all the files this package installs are writeable to everyone... Could we set reasonable permissions?

Thanks, it works now - map is enabled as part of installation process, great! one comment more though - is texlive-fontsextra a dependency? Cannot one install garamond font without other fonts in fontsextra? I believe it's possible, right?
