This is amazing and works perfectly, but I would really appreciate it if you would remove the "above" property which causes it to float over all windows. I modified it myself and it works perfectly. I didn't expect fullscreen to imply 'above' so it caught me off guard.

I tend to fullscreen emacs and urxvt and then alt-tab between them as necessary. Having the 'above' property on urxvt prevents me from alt-tabbing to anything while urxvt is fullscreen since it's floating above. While I was able to modify it myself, it'd be great if you had no objection to this change so I could use this package which is much neater than running my own fork :)

@zyeri This package doesn't really build anything, it only install an script. Therefore, the section that was called build() should just be called package().

And is done now. Try to install it again.

I'm getting the following error message when I try to run makepkg:

==> ERROR: Missing package() funciton in /home/zyeri/urxvt-fullscreen/PKGBUILD

I'm not sure why package() isn't there, but I downloaded the tarball, ran tar -xf to extract, cd'd into the new directory, and ran "makepkg" before receiving that error.

Am I doing something wrong to install this?

I use openbox

This script uses wmctrl to set the window properties.
wmctrl requires EWMH/NetWM compatible window managers. It does not work with not compatible wms.

For instance, I use ratpoison, and it does not work there (fyi, the only purpose of using it on rp would be to fill the gaps, but I managed to do it other way)

Anyway, what window manager are you using?
