The package isn't out-of-date since lucid isn't stable. But if you want try test version for lucid beta, try this: http://archlinux.menollo.nl/usb-creator/ I have some troubles with the new usb-creator: It sometimes gives errors about the bootloader (before copying the files). The logfile says that a file is not found. (so I think i am missing an dependency, but i haven't figured out wich)

I get the following error: "An unhandled exception occurred: GtkFrontend instance has no attribute 'cancelbutton'" Seems to be a bugreport filed about this here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-creator/+bug/503808 but this was supposedly fixed in 0.2.21. When using your PKGBUIL I get $ usb-creator-gtk --version 0.2.8 My best guess is some python incompatibility between Arch version and the ubuntu one (if others can reproduce)
