I think there's something wrong with the install-cabs script. I get:
[unshield_open_force_version:363] Failed to read header files
Failed to open /tmp/data1 as an InstallShield Cabinet File
I'm using the original 6 image set with each disc mounted in /mnt/. Am I doing something wrong?

The current patch file URL is working...is it not? The below URL looks like the same version.

Get it while you can, there was only one site I found still hosting it.
I prefer not to maintain both the patch and the package, there should probably be a seperation there. But if it comes down to it, I'll throw it up on some file hosting site somewhere.

I guess this was flagged because the source link is dead. I'll have to find a new host of the file, then I'll upload the update.

I just added some lines to the build() to remove ucc-bin-linux-amd64 and ut2004-bin-linux-amd64 if ran on 32-bit arch. Hope that works out.

Ran into this trying to install on Arch 32-bit:
==> Tidying install...
-> Purging other files...
-> Compressing man and info pages...
-> Stripping unneeded symbols from binaries and libraries...
/usr/bin/strip:./opt/ut2004/System/ucc-bin-linux-amd64: File format not recognized

I'm new at this, but the PKGBUILD looked pretty messed up. So I'll get the new one out here as soon as I verify it works.

Hi, to anyone who has the anthology, you can try my PKGBUILD

I started looking into this and it turns out I don't even own the release of UT2k4 this PKGBUILD was created for. I have Unreal Anthology and the version on Steam. Ideally, it would be nice if this PKGBUILD worked with all the different releases of UT2k4, but that would be quite a big undertaking, better suited to someone with more interest in this game. Or for simplicity, create different PKGBUILDs for different releases of the game. Either way, I am going to disown this particular PKGBUILD so someone else with the resources can properly handle it.

Fails with no error message immediately after installing all dependancies. I installed libstdc++ as indicated by WhiteDawn.

Missing libstdc++5 as a dependency. Also doesn't work with the ECE DVD, but that is because it is packaged differently. I'll make a separate package for that.

I started updating this PKGBUILD and when I went to put the UT disk in, I realized my DVD drive appears to have broken at some point (I never use it). So I can't test whether or not this actually works. I updated it with the working mirror, at least.
