unset PERL_MM_OPT
in build() allows the package to build for me. I found that tip here: https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/after-perl-update-only-one-of-prefix-or-install_base-can-be-given.40305/
Note that I don't understand what the side effects (if any) of doing this are. All I know is that the build completes now ;-)

This doesn't build anymore, getting Only one of PREFIX or INSTALL_BASE can be given. Not both.

Sorry for ignorance but how come this still builds with perl 5.28?

Now sourced from a github mirror. Let me know if you have any issues.

The domain name registration for mirrorservice.org has expired. Can we source from somewhere else?

It looks like this depends on mpfr, which is not listed as a dependency.
