Again, regular uutils-coreutils-git doesn't work on systems without systemd, that's why this package exists

Well that's on you. Linux is about freedom of choice, some choose to not use systemd. This package isn't harming anyone lol

Why do not we package
systemd-libskeeping default/bin/init? Linking tolibsystemd.sois not harmful as systemd-related feature just don't work. AUR is existing for Arch Linux which essentially depends onsystemd, not for forks. I really don't like many duplicated*-nosystemdpackages in AUR.Gurov commented on 2026-07-27 19:55 (UTC)
Because some of us use Artix Linux or other systemd-less Arch-based distros and uutils that's in the AUR is compiled with systemd and doesn't work on such setups.

libsystemdis required bybase?
