i prefeer this way. because the models can be updated by upstream and need to update everytime the pkgbuild each time

Would it be possible to move the download of the files

into the source array?

This would allow for resume of interrupted downloads (the files are quite large) and checksum verification via PKGBUILD. (I currently have the problem of not being able to build this package because every now and then the connection breaks, and then it restarts download from the very beginning, even if the file has already been downloaded.)
