Adding this comment for someone else having the same issue:

If you try to install this and have a error such as:

vc-dwim-1.8.tar.xz ... FAILED (unknown public key 7FD9FCCB000BEEEE)
ERROR: One or more PGP signatures could not be verified!

This means you need to import the key into your pacman keyring, which is done by typing:

gpg --recv-keys 7FD9FCCB000BEEEE

Afterwards you can try again and it will succeed the GPG validation.
