The busybox website cert expired yesterday. I don't know if previous issues relating to that website were spurious or not, but this seems like something that might need patching the pkgbuild for if it isn't resolved by the website itself

Edit: now fixed

@mathisbuilder, no it's fine.. I just double checked. You apparently hit a local problem of some kind. It currently downloads and builds just fine inside a clean chroot.

The source for downloading musl-CVE-2025-26519-fix1.patch is broken

I had to install bison and flex for this to build. They should probably be added at least as a make dependency.

More might be needed but I had them installed. All in all, a pass on what's needed to build this might be a good idea.

I was able to build this package in a fresh archlinux docker container with paru, as such my current working theory as for the reason I was and remain unable to compile this package to be related to my system's use of packages from the cachyos-znver4 repositories, instead of the standard arch repos. Strange, seeing how I've never experienced any such issues before this with any other AUR packages.

can you fix it?

Fix what? There is nothing to fix. It works perfectly fine here. You have numerous checksum problems there.. so the problem is clearly on your side.. disk corruption? bad RAM? etc, etc. Please clean out your downloads and try again.

Strange, it doesn't build for me in or out of a clean chroot. I thought my modified makepkg config might have had something to do with it, but no luck after resetting that either.

Just re-checked and it builds fine here inside a clean chroot (which is the only sane way to build any package).
