@Plexcon Unfortunately, the author didn't update upstream master branch since January. Cinnamon DE is not installed on my desktop but you can check if you are more lucky when using my PKGBUILD for the vertex-themes-git package in AUR, but pulling a more up to date fork that Oberon2007 maintains on Github. Just replace this line : source=($pkgname::git+ with : source=($pkgname::git+

Very nice theme of windows but do not leave the icons in Cinnamon

Psychic training should be listed as a feature, ever since scroll bar mid sections disappeared. Hooray for GTK.

@CanalGuada ah, now I see. It's the "==" operator which is bash-specific. That would explain why it worked before I replaced my /bin/sh with dash. Pull request is on the way. Now I got it to work, thanks!

CanalGuada commented on 2016-05-07 14:56 (UTC)

@ljfa According your gist file, the auto generated configure script failed on some tests, such this one at line 2489 here :
if test "xdisable" == "xdisable"; then : ENABLE_GTK3="yes" else ENABLE_GTK3="no" fi
Using a fresh user and bash default shell, there is no issue running this snippet. Yours seems shell related.

I tried it with makepkg and it still does not work

CanalGuada commented on 2016-04-25 04:25 (UTC) (edited on 2016-04-25 04:30 (UTC) by CanalGuada)

@ljfa Maybe you should try to build the package with makepkg as per wiki. Or with another aurhelper than yaourt, since it used to run into its very own issues.

ljfa commented on 2016-04-24 09:58 (UTC)

For me it doesn't work either: The "Vertex" folder is empty except for README and index.theme. Any idea where the problem is and how to fix it?

CanalGuada commented on 2016-04-22 13:55 (UTC)

@Alad Source file passes yet the validity check, thus makefile isn't more broken than since the last update… No issue here building package today.

Alad commented on 2016-04-15 15:39 (UTC)

Seems like the makefile is broken - GTK2/3 themes aren't installed at all.

Updated to 20150923-3 version. Sounds like what should be an archive file is not really one.

Hi, Two small fixes to apply on the PKGBUILD of vertex-theme-20150923 Thank you ##sha256sums=('8484edaf1e9324676a9ebe76c58bb46e0aacbe289a3ee40d01f717e8fde3eb51') sha256sums=('31efb28773d7502bb573fb3130016d98ee1f0aeffc74f39a83b72319f68dd4d3') ## cd Vertex-theme-${_releasever} cd vertex-theme-${_releasever}

Updated to 20150923 release. GNOME 3.18 support added. @TrialnError : Yep, you're right about provides directive. Thanks. Fixed with this update. This PKGBUILD follows what seems to be a policy for other gtk theme packages in Community repository that require some gtk-engine dependency. And IMHO this one makes sense since many desktop environments or applications still use gtk2 toolkit.

TrialnError commented on 2015-07-21 17:54 (UTC)

The provides line is unnecessary. This package is vertex-themes (pkgname). No need to tell pacman that this package is vertex-themes (would be the case if pkgname is different). Edit: Oh, and one note. Iirc the gtk-engine is needed for the gtk2 theme only. So this could be an optional dep in that respect

@gegenschall No building issue with aura (or yaourt) AUR helper or with makepkg command as per wiki. Package size is 851kb. $ ls -o vertex-themes-20150425-1-any.pkg.tar.xz -rw-r--r-- 1 canalguada 871132 5 mai 03:58 vertex-themes-20150425-1-any.pkg.tar.xz

gegenschall commented on 2015-05-03 15:01 (UTC)

Package in current version is broken. Package size is only 400kb (i.e. -5MB) and does not contain anything.

Support for Pantheon dock with a Plank theme.

CanalGuada commented on 2015-03-27 06:19 (UTC)

New PKGBUILD with support for GNOME 3.16. No Thunderbird theme (dropped by author).

Uploaded 20140928-2 removing zip package dependency and providing author's README file. Git package added

Cilyan commented on 2014-10-06 17:36 (UTC)

The zip command is needed to build. It is provided by the zip package.

CanalGuada commented on 2014-09-29 18:43 (UTC)

GNOME 3.14 didn't reach yet extra repository but one can build the package for 3.12 version replacing gnomever value with 3.12 in PKGBUILD.

CanalGuada commented on 2014-09-29 17:40 (UTC)

Seems there are some issues using open source GPU drivers according to README file provided by author. So YMMV, but if you experience Gnome-Shell crashes, replacing the "gnome-shell.css" file in the "Vertex-Gnome-Shell/gnome-shell/" folder with the "gnome-shell-no-crash.css" file may resolve them.
