It might be worth it to change the source URL to use <https://github.com/oberon-manjaro/vertex-theme>, which has updates to make the theme work with GTK ≥ 3.20

@drankinatty : I guess 'gnome-themes-standard' package is missing since it provides Adwaita theming engine. I could have added this dependency for users who want to use this GNOME theme without installing this GNOME desktop dependency, but since other maintainers don't do that when providing gtk-theme packages in community repository, well… I didn't ;) If this package does not fix your issue (got none when testing GTKwrite here), please report it : https://github.com/horst3180/vertex-theme/issues in order to get some more valuable help.

Checking the Vertex-Dark theme in gtk2 editor (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gtkwrite_git/) I get 'adwaita' engine warnings, e.g.: Gtk-WARNING: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "adwaita" The theme also seems to ignore the non-homogeneous tool item setting for toolbar items causing the toolbar to push off the right side (into an elipsed menu as it should). The specific call that is ignored is, e.g.: gtk_tool_item_set_homogeneous (new, FALSE); Other than that, I like the dark theme. I'll see if I can determine why the toolbar issue exists.

Works with gnome(3.20) if "_gnomever=3.18" is updated to "_gnomever=3.20"
