It appears that https://github.com/veyon/veyon/issues/570 has been closed and resolved. I had to delete everything and try again and then it built without issue. Everything appears to be working so far.

Version 4.3.0 is on hold until https://github.com/veyon/veyon/issues/570 is resolved.. The developer marked it as solved but there are still some compatibility Qt issues.. I wrote on the thread and wait for a response..

Edit: compilation has been solved, v4.4.0 works in current Arch

Pls add the following line at the build phase:

-DCMAKE_INSTALL_DATA_DIR=/usr/share/ \

With this the translation won't be placed to the root FS.

I needed to add lzo and libxinerama as makedepends for it to actually build (in a clean chroot). After that namcap shows them as actual dependencies (among other stuff):

This package is not updated as the current releases do not build correctly and produce an error, reported: https://github.com/veyon/veyon/issues/397

It will be updated when these issues are resolved

Edit: issue has been worked around
