Heads up, building requires libsimdjson33, this will break becaause simdjson on extra repo is now v5 which gives libsimdjson34

It seems like cmark-gfm is not only a build dependency. I built the package via aurto in chroot and got
vicinae-server: error while loading shared libraries: libcmark-gfm.so.0.29.0.gfm.13: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryuntil i manually installed cmark-gfm on the host system.archisman commented on 2026-08-12 11:51 (UTC)
It fails to install without

There appears to be a new required dependency, qt6-tools.

@haves Thanks for notifying me. I occasionally break packages when I copy and paste from vicinae-bin. Btw hook is not working because you didn't enabled the systemd service by yourself. Pacman hook only restarts vicinae if the systemd user service is enabled by the user. Some people like me sometimes use their window managers start options like
exec-onceon hyprland (idk the syntax though i switched to niri after the lua update). So we are not restarting the vicinae service for everyone.haves commented on 2026-06-16 02:13 (UTC)
The current pacman hook seems off, package name is vicinae-bin, while this is vicinae.
Btw, this hook has never really worked for me, I don't use systemd to start vicinae.

The current version (0.20.15-2) fails to build , but I see you are on it :) https://github.com/vicinaehq/vicinae/pull/1350#issuecomment-4389276630 (btw, it's not just the
