Works great!

The only thing I would ask in terms of upgrades is a way to add audio quality options so audio can be downloaded at different quality (would love a 320kbps option!)

@MarsSeed: I've updated video-downloader-git, it's not that hard. You can do it!

@igor-dyatlov thanks for notifying me about the update to GTK4 with v0.10.0.

Today I do not have time to test that update so I am asking for a bit more of your patience for it.

Until that, I've updated this app from v0.9.9 to v0.9.10 to include the latest bugfixes.

Аpp migrated to gtk4/libadwaita

Thanks for reporting! I've made the tests not fail the build itself, because they are only meant to inform developers, not signal to packagers that there would be anything wrong with the application.

Appstream is not even necessary to build this package - that is only used if a Flatpak bundle is created.

So this particular failing test indicates to devs that they might have some issues when making a Flatpak distribution. But this does not affect platform-native packaging, which is what we are doing here.

I have the same issue

I have libhandy version 1.4.0-1. No, I won't downgrade.

dois commented on 2021-05-11 05:51 (UTC)

I believe there's a broken dependency with libhandy:

$ video-downloader Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/video-downloader", line 44, in <module> gi.require_version('Handy', '1') File "/usr/lib/python3.9/site-packages/gi/init.py", line 126, in >require_version raise ValueError('Namespace %s not available' % namespace) ValueError: Namespace Handy not available

Fixed by installing libhandy-1.2.2-1
