@Xyne, do you mind adopting "vim-pandoc-syntax-git"? It goes in par with this one. Both come from the same "vim-pandoc" team on github. Many thanks !

Without git in makedepends, this cannot be built in a clean chroot

The pkgver function has been updated to use upstream's tags, which did not exist when the previous version of the function was written. As this is only an AUR package, it did not seem worth it to add an epoch to the PKGBUILD. Update the package explicitly if your AUR helper does not detect the new version. After that system updates will work as expected with the new versioning scheme.

Upstream added a license (https://github.com/vim-pandoc/vim-pandoc/blob/master/LICENSE), which should be reflected in the PKGBUILD

Upstream split syntax highlighting into a separate plugin, see https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/vim-pandoc-syntax-git/ for that plugin

Cool, thanks for packaging!

@Profpatsch Is that a general announcement, or are you requesting that the package be updated? In the latter case, there is no need. Just redownload the PKGBUILD and run makepkg. It will automatically retrieve the current master branch and build an up-to-date package.
