Upstream has updated, dropped support for nvim, and renamed from nvim-r to vim-r. The new package has been uploaded, and a request has been made to merge this package (nvim-r) into that one.

Thanks @ajschadler12. Gosh, that naming is confusing! If anyone wants to package r.nvim, I'll link it here. I'm only using vanilla vim, so I won't package it myself.

For neovim users, upstream has released a separate package for better neovim support, r.nvim.

Upstream has discontinued vim-r. nvim-r (this package) is the continuation and bundles the previous dependency r-vimcom (now nvimcom).

I'm not actively using it at the moment, so feel free to adopt.

Here is a working PKGBUILD for the latest version 1.2.6 [1]. mschu, if you weren't interested in maintaining this, I'm happy to take over. (Just because when you uploaded the current PKGBUILD, it was already 10 versions and 1.5 years old.) [1] http://pastebin.com/Cw2WkG6p

Sounds like a duplicate purpose for vim-r.
