Yes, use printf "r%s.%s" "$(git rev-list --count HEAD)" "$(git rev-parse --short HEAD)" otherwise it fails to build.

since this project does not provide any version number and also 'git describe' gives no output i set version to 0.0 post a comment if you have a better idea.
